Post Filesonic is Deleating even those files which is not shared. Are you also facing?

    Hello,

I need to confirm one thing. I just uploaded some movies which were in *.mkv, *.avi and *.mp4. After some time i saw that some of files have been deleted from the root automatically even i didn't share those files yet and the deleted reason was Digital Fingerprint.

Even my backup copies of those files have also been deleted. If they keep continue this thing then i think Filesonic will be the next fall-down after Hotfile.

What do you think about this deletion system?

    It's not that new mate.
Try packing it up in a .rar and calling the .rar file something random.

DF works in a way that it tries to find a match from a huge DB of already submitted fingerprints, if found, shazam, your file is deleted. It is completely automated.

Btw, I am sure you already created topic like this one, aren't you?

Yes just changing the MD5 will solve your problem. Use MD5 Hasher, small and easy to use.

    Pure Awesomeness!
Nothing will solve your problem, anything that gets sales will be deleted. I had a 10mb.bin test file getting sales with and that got deleted as well.

    @ Mr RT
Because that was considered spamming, you still didn't realized that yourself? Read their TOS

@ All, unless you encrypt your file, you can't protect yourself, it's just a question is something you've uploaded, already in database
