whats the use of the vps ? and vps come with ip only you need to add a control panel to it so that you can add nameservers to it and use it with your domain

Upload file to /var/www/ or var/www/html/foldername and access it by http://ip/foldername/

No http://domain name/sborg

yup you can do that easily... upload the files as bharat said and also remember to install the basic php and other stuffs for installation

how can i upload files without installing control panel? i have solusVM vps..
is there any method to make a ftp account without control panel?

kloxo, webmin ... btw you can use sftp ..

in filezilla add the ip, username: root, password your vps pass and port as 22

i used smartftp,it says..

SSH server detected. Change the protocol to SFTP over SSH and try again.

use filezilla and do what vizoomer says above and it will work for sure

but remember you select sftp as protocol when you add new site under site manager

and use your root id and password in login details
