I get the file in less than 1 second.
Seems like the file is just a bunch of equal information and what you download is just compressed.Making money on VideoBB - Recruiting (PM me)

budgetvds.com hilohost.com wdispatch.comBasically, he doing what singlehop is doing which is considering cheating.
Basically this guy tried to download speed test file, and got faster transfer rate than the maximum of his physical link. And after investigation,
- The 500MB tar.gz file turns out to be null-padded throughout.
- Test file is served through HTTPS, using SSL's built-in compression, to achieve the appearance of ridiculously high speed, even though the actual bandwidth used is a lot smaller.
So there you go. Don't always trust the test file from the provider -- they might make wget download test appears faster than it actually is.

Can you fix this thread then please? and remove that cheating images!!
Could we also have a new rule, saying we can't use .bin files to prove speedtest

There was a thread regarding the same speed issue related to .bin files, http://www.besthostingforums.com/10-...-too-fast.html
I think you can find a reason in that thread
