Bandwidth problem..

Hello guys,
i just want to know is there any way to decrease the bandwidth consumption. My site was down three times the previous month, coz of exceeding the bandwidth limit. And yesterdays bandwidth usage was 6744mb. Please give some suggestions, how you maintain your bandwidth usage..

try removing some images you logo is 104kb on its own

So what will i put in place of it, i already has compressed the logo a bit.. Compressing more will make it blur..

well a big way to cheat is uploading to tinypic then it uses there server instead of yours

K. This is a good way but it might be possible that they may remove the image anytime.. But i will try to put them in free image hosts and will check the usage again, thanks for the suggestion.

well the tech-spot logo has been there atleast 3 months now

You can use a cpanel redirect to make yoursite.com/logo.gif redirect to the image on tinypic so if they ever remove it, you reupload it and you just change the redirect to point to the new image url

1. Upload your logo to tinypic or other image hosting service.
2. Login to your cPanel and create a redirect. Make yoursite.com/logo.gif redirect to the image you uploaded on tinypic.
3. If the image gets removed from the image hosting service, you can just reupload the image and change the redirect to point to the newly uploaded image.
