That's probably what has happened. However you can ban entire ranges and white-list individual IPs, the only problem being if it's not a static address he'll just have this problem in a week or so's time.

My IP (USA) was once banned and I messaged EL J about it and he said sorry about that and unbanned the IP so Im guessing here at KWWH they probably have some range auto banning or something?

once i was banned because i accessed my KWWH account from my friends pc !!

later after 24hr on graveyard forum section i got unbanned .
