this is a good reference for those who wanna make their downloaders happy with the download speed.

this thread will get better if anyone from other locations can post their results too so uploaders will get the idea which filehost will give the best speed for free user.

ps: please test more filehosts (eg: Uploaded.to, Freakshare.com)

Pretty useless, because these benchmarks are only valid for your location.

And I am surprised about the upload speeds of Megaupload and Mediafire.

It is generally known that these hosts have very low upload speeds (not exceeding 500-600KBs).

I've uploaded to them from 1Gbs server and still got low speeds. Like to see screenshots.

That's an impossible upload speed for Megaupload. Even with 1GPBS connection USA or NL.

Unless your file was terribly small.
