Obvious fake, bad spelling/grammar, there's no reason they would need or ask for admin access, they can easily check the front end to see if there's any content posted that infringes there copyright.

On a side note, if you own a licence for vBulletin you should make sure none of your members post copyrighted material relating to them, they are ofcourse in a position to suspend your licence at anytime, it makes sence to keep as good relations with them as possible.

They do, i got legal threats from them a couple of years back, but that was after replying to thier emails with abusive responces... they threatened to take me to court if i did not pay for the boards and addons i was using or take down the sites, i paid them but still got piracy reports and further emails, in the end i tolds them to never email me again, that it was a family email and i had paid for the boards.

But still IP.Board rocks especially 3.0.x... Needs better forum leecher suport though and a new link checker bot.......

That's not it. On the top right side of the email you'll see the Reply button. Right next to it you see a downwards pointing arrow. Click that and on that menu click View Original so you get a text-only document. Copy/paste that.

From what I can see it is authentic. Odd. I would expect Jellysoft mails to be way more professional than the ones you received ("warez", "(!!!)", typos, ...).

This is definatley fake, you shouldn't of replied to them because now they will have your ip adress and your full name which means they might be able to hack your email and get access to your forums admincp that way, I don't think they would count on this alone working its kind of lame x-]
