the best solution is to be patient guys .. slow speeds and uploads will be resolved in time hopefully. If you want to know what DF is exacly going through just check their alexa rank . before this mess their whole traffic made up 0.4% of the total internet traffic and now its 0.8% !! their traffic exactly doubled meaning if they had 5 million active visitor and downloaders everyday, now its 10 million ! balancing everything again will take time and wont be solved in matter of just a few month and adding a dozen of new servers. this is true of all host.

3 months. A file uploaded today will be deleted in June 11.

It is written on File Management page, both the Upload date, and the Deletion date. It's pretty accurate, the Deletion date is updated realtime when download count increases. So a download from the same IP of your different files might earn you no more, but that pushes your deletion date back to 90 days.
