Hollywood won't stop and neither will We the People, as we've all just seen with Megaupload the copyright laws that are in place work and to make it simpler would invite abuse, I hate to say this in any context but what they need to do is work with what they've got on the books and enforce those laws from the up-loader to the end user, the only problem with that is there are country's that won't or don't cooperate, in those cases maybe the MPAA needs to stop sending the copyrighted material over into those country's since they are the majority of the offenders in the first place, it would affect their profits, yes, but what it boils down to is they claim their profits are already being affected do to piracy so in the end they being Hollywood and the recording industry and not OUR government need to decide which is the lesser of the two evils, unless of coarse they are exaggerating their claims, which lets face we all know they are .
