Thinking to go with rapidshare....
Hello, i have been with oron and filesonic.
I am thinking to go with rapidshare and i want to know the following:
1] they have mod to duplicate my files ? (to make backups)
2] they delete only files getting dmca or they check all my files ?

actually each & every (or rather say most of the) uploaders are worried about the recent DRAMA that's happening now a days with the file hosters.....
Cross your fingers if you could get a compact answer...

About the 2 and 3 things may change....but i am asking how are the things until now, after who knows ?
Also what about the file duplicates ?

epicimagehost.com1) I don't think they have a mod to duplicate files. Or atleast they will delete all copies if a DMCA takedown was sent to one of the files.
2) They don't check files themselves, only DMCA reports are being followed.
3) I don't think they ban accounts for many DMCA takedowns.

a friend got a abuse from rapidshare because he has uploaded a constantin movie i will stay away.
Biggest shit hosts: freakshare, letitbit, henchfile, shareflare, uload.to.
I highly recommend you guys to stay away from these..

1- Providing you with a way to make multiple copies of files cause legal issues for hosts, so no, Rapidshare doesn't offer that.
2- Different cases vary but they haven't did a mass delete on any of my files for the past 4 years.
