Is it safe to remote upload on Hotfile ?

Guys, i used to upload all my files on hotfile and my hotfile account currently have more than 45 GB of files. To protect my files and make their backup, i purchased a premium account of hotfile to remote upload all my files from hotfile to filesonic, but now due to U.S.A SOPA. Filesonic has been shutdown and is preventing the users to remote upload files. I currently have backup of some of my files on 4shared(free account), so i just wanna is it safe to remote upload from 4shared to hotfile using leechers. I have heard that hotfile suspends or terminates account due to remote uploading. Is it really true ??
And is it safe to remote to hotfile especially nowdays when this US SOPA thing is going on ??
