Change these parts of ur css:

.custom #header_area {
height: 270px;
}
.custom #content_box {
background: white url(../images/default/content_box.gif) repeat-y 63.4em 0;
border: 1px solid black;
margin-top: 4em;
border-image: initial;
}

To These:

.custom #header_area {
height: 118px;
}
.custom #content_box {
background: white url(../images/default/content_box.gif) repeat-y 63.4em 0;
border: 1px solid black;
border-image: initial;
}

You can increase the height if it's too near or bring back the margin with a much smaller one.
