Just before everything went into the $hitter, i was thinking about about putting up a bunch of my own work -ie- texture maps, sprite sheets ect that game developers could use. If i put up several hundred file and each file gets downloaded 5-10 times a could of make some decent money, probably more than i could even if i sold them for very little. I'm assuming they reason filehosters didn't run ads to increase revenue was because most companies didn't want to associate with the dubious nature of most of these filehosters. Any one think if it would be possible to startup a legit file hosting service that would compensate content creators, or it that just wishful thinking.
