    Default vBulletin shows .GIF even though the path is .PNG

    hey, this has been pissing me off. I want to change my read/unread icons to .PNG other then .GIF cause of quality of the transparent images, so I went into FORUMDISPLAY and changed the path to .PNG. But when I refresh the forum they always show as .GIF.

    Any help, thanks.

    Check in the CSS properties to see if there is any reference to the icons.

    Also check the Forum Home template
