Many Wordpress instances One admin login (cookie based authentication)
Like i said ..all blogs on a server sharing same database with different prefixes ...log into one wp and it logs you into all of them..& if you had figured it pls lemme know or wait until i come up with a solution..
note: its a Multisite alternative as each instance is separate but share common users table in db
Your Opinions are most valued..thx

thx but thats not it humor bhai(respect).. lemme put it this way
motherdomain.com (lets say using db motherdomain with prefix wp0_) users table will be wp0_usermeta
childsubdomain1.motherdomain.com (using db motherdomain with prefix wp1_) users table must be wp0_usermeta
childsubdomain2.motherdomain.com (using db motherdomain with prefix wp2_) users table must be wp0_usermeta
which means if you're logged into motherdomain.com you're logged into child1 & child 2 aswell..
I think i almost got the heck of it..
pls lemme know wha u think...

sborg.usI believe it's all upto the cookies.
When you login to the motherdomain, it's cookies are stored in your browser. They're specific to that domain and won't work with the childsubdomains unless the session is carried forwarded. I've not tried this before, but yeah I'll take a look whenever possible
