the installer of a game gave me this error:

any way i can fix it? reinstall windows or buy new hdd ?

thanks, i googled it and found some results, but non of them are helpful. Most of them say its a HDD issue. i posted on the game forums and now im waiting for a reply.

any suggestions are welcomed.

i think game error becaz long time ago i tried to gtaan and i got same issue like this but i HDD was fully working

its because the file you are trying to install from is corrupt. It is due to I/O errors. Try downloading the file/ISO/Rar again

iso was corrupted ?

It sucks when u download a file and come to know its corrupted

crc errors occur due to improper downloading of file and due to i/o errors fix is to check if it has a recovery record and try to fix it or else just re-download the file
