    Question VBSEO Question

    Hello all,

I am thinking of adding VBSEO to my forum.
This mod is the one that converts the threads which are shown as numbers to keywords of the thread and numbers, right?

If I do that, will it effect all the links of my forum or the new ones?
I am asking this because if it changes everything all submissions at Katz will not be valid.

    Thank you for your time!

It redirects your old ones to the newer version but beware when you submit threads that are vBSEO'd if for whatever reason you decide not to use vBSEO anymore your submissions will get messed up, if I were you I would submit everything as showthread.php links rather than vBSEO.

If you remove vBseo, there is a code you can add to your htaccess file to redirect all VBSEO'ed links back to vBulletin links.

Yup, submit as showthread.php if you don't want your submissions to be messed up. However, you can use Curtis129's auto submitter, that converts seo'ed posts to normal ones.

    So if I install VBSEO:
    1) The new links will have the new format

    2) The old links will be changed from the post like this?
    http://www.nuclearwarez.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=8086
    To This:
    http://www.nuclearwarez.com/forums/music/mykonos 10 (somehow like this)

OR the link will remain like this http://www.nuclearwarez.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=8086 and if I click on it I will be redirected to this http://www.nuclearwarez.com/forums/music/mykonos 10 ?

    3) Loget, you mean that I can submit with the old format at Katz?
But where am I going to see the number of the thread? (I.e. "t=8086")

Thank you all for the replies!

I have installed it and I am getting this error at Guest forum and some other sections.

If I click at guest downloads at the index page I see this and if I click on it I get the same page again.

    What is the problem?
