Megashares going down

Seems like MS will go down soon as they have started deleting the files (the only place i had a backup), removed public search and affiliate page.

Any official thoughts or updates about this situation?

When i questioned about the deleted files - the reply was

" Just posting here to let you know we we looking into the missing files. It looks as though we have had a hardware faliure. I wont know until later (maybe tonight or tomorrow), if it is recoverable or not.

Seriously? Stop spreading rumors FFS. Hardware can fail, everyone knows that, its not the end of the world. Their servers are overloaded at the moment and they are trying to cope with this sudden user increase. If a host like rapidshare can face problems, any host can.

You are in the champions program aren't you prathaprabhu? I can see that dds already told you what happened and what their plans are for future, so lets not spread rumors.

Cloudshadow is right. I've seen you in champions program and staff there has already told why they remove the search for non-registered users, their future plans for the affiliate programs and the hardware that was failing.

If you want answers/updates, better to post in the champions board as you would get quicker replies from staff.

False news. I doubt they'll be going down, but all that traffic and uploading is effecting them.

Friends - I am not trying to spread any humors. So I am asking your suggestions. My only concern is i have about 3500+ files got deleted (1.91TB). And I am still expecting a reply about it.
