You will need a dedicated IP address, and an SSL certificate.

Do you already have a SSL certificate?

if you have a domain you dont need another dedicated ip since all dedi hosts come with a static ip already...

all you need is a cheap ssl certificate..

To not show any warnings you need to buy a ssl certificate or else you can do a self signed one but it will show a error message for the users to accept it or not with a warning...

Also your webserver has to be setup with ssl support

I'm not sure you understand how DNS works. You point DNS to an IP address where your webserver is listening. It then picks up the request and deals with it according to the vhost configuration for that site.

SSL requires additional information to be added to your vhost config, such as certificates and keys. If you want to force https, this will be the place you do that as well.
