What is the PROPER way of Domain Redirection?

My website is www.mafiablog.org. I want a test drive. I need to change my domain from .ORG to .NET with all the URLS

Visit this website http://www.heroturko.org/. They have redirected from ORG to ME with all the URLS (Posts).

Please tell me what should i do in this regard. I found this on Internet but this is kinda confusing.

Which type of redirection i should use? I am using a VPS with Kloxo with centos.

Yep, you should do 301 permanent redirection, only it is suitable in terms of SEO

This will be the best way to do so, it will move all your rankings, and there is no chance that you will get blacklisted or google will ban your website.

Do i need to restore my databse on .NET domain as well? or what? and what is the code which i should mention in *.htaccess file?

Why don't you try redirecting it from your domain registrar?
