I assume you are referring to the FTP uploads to USA server. Do you see an error when trying to connect? Are you trying to connect in active or passive mode?

I tried to test it and when i tried to "pay" for file all i got is some stuped small carrot jumping on screen both on chrome and mozzila browser!? How will users pay to us ?? with credit card ? paypal ? i cant see .. al i see is some carrot jumping on screen

At this very moment in time they must use a CarrotPay account which can be funded with Credit Card/ Paypal/ Bank Transfer. However, there are plans, which I believe will be available at the end of the month, to skip that part and just pay directly with Paypal and other gateways. However, as Paypal fees are higher than CarrotPay fees, the FEE for paypal would be paid for by the user.

So for example, if the item is $0.10, then the user may end up paying $0.16 or similar.

Yes they should set direct pay with paypal and Credit card no mather higher fees that is small amount and this carrotpay is full of bugs and usless. I would start immidiatly i need this kind of service !

If there were another payment gateway that offered these solutions, we would certainly look into that. But direct pay is not possible at the moment.

Also, I do not see how, or why, Paypal / CC gateways would be able to charge fees as low as Carrot.org, or handle micro payments.

Direct Payments via Paypal is not possible at the moment no.

However, as stated in previous replies, you can pay with Paypal through CarrotPay. It is actually very quick and easy.

You can authenticate yourself with CarrotPay using your Google or Facebook account so you need not bother with a tedious sign up process.

When attempting to pay by CarrotPay (after authenticating yourself/logging in) you will be prompted to top up your funds, which you can do via Paypal. The top up process can be done ON OUR site so you need not go off to Carrot.org to do the top up procedure.

However, we have been informed by the CarrotPay developers that direct Paypal payment will be available very soon!
