Deleting Duplicate Posts manually in WordPress can take a lot of time if you have an extensive number of posts. Now the question will arise that, why to delete duplicate posts ? Whats harm in keeping them ?

Having duplicate content on the same site is a negative trait considered by the Search Engines. If the duplicate posts are indexed, Google will lower your page?s ranking and this will tend to a decrease in the organic traffic. So having a website/blog with zero duplicate content/post is a part of the SEO Best Practices.

There are numerous plugins built for WordPress and I tried them all. Yes, all. Almost all of them were inefficient and out of them only one was more accurate in flagging the duplicate posts and providing the feature to delete them.

Just install this plugin, navigate to the WordPress Admin Panel, scroll down. You will see something like this:


Click on it and proceed further.

This plugin will search all the duplicate posts and provide you an option to delete them all.
