Problem with VPS

Hi I have VPS when i m downloading Multiple files at one time then it is going down after completion of four downloads....:-( for making it up i need to restart it. I have centos Operating System in it

why is this happening do any one have solution for it?

Ohk i have made following values and restarted apache

<IfModule prefork.c>
StartServers       100
MinSpareServers    1
MaxSpareServers    5
ServerLimit       10
MaxClients        1000
MaxRequestsPerChild  4000
</IfModule>

<IfModule worker.c>
StartServers       100
MaxClients        1000
MinSpareThreads    1
MaxSpareThreads    4
ThreadsPerChild     25
MaxRequestsPerChild  0
</IfModule>

But problem still presists

cat /etc/httpd/conf.d/swtune.conf

I m not using any control panel

Result using your command: cat: /etc/httpd/conf.d/swtune.conf: No such file or directory
