They seem to think that because they follow DMCA rules they're immune. Processors are more worried of being linked to cp than DMCA. Filemates do not get it. Suggesting cp is on a level with programs, films or music is proof they don't get it. AK is knocking them down like skittles because they insist to allow anything on their servers.

I really can't stand people like you. File hosts have no control over what users upload.

Then they contravene processors and Visa's rules. Visa, MC, Paypal, Moneybookers and the rest don't care about the DMCA rules. They are worried of this hitting the mainstream press and being linked to processing cp.

the script is ready, the payment processor is bought, the server is bought, the domain as well...

what we are waiting is the bank merchant account. it is a special accountot o accept payments... this takes time. they told us few days... I hope so.
As soon as we have our IMA (internet merchant account) we connect it to our payment processor and we start the integration

in the meanwhile we found good this solution until this happens...

And then it's found by AK, the bank is told of the cp you have and the house of cards collapses. Please understand you're going to get hit over and over again and when this becomes public knowledge no one will process for you if you have porn on your servers that might be cp. It doesn't matter if it is or is not cp. It's perception of bankers that counts.

It might be worth noting that the minute a Mastercard or Visa logo appears Filemates that I'll be working with my contacts at the card companies to have the merchant account shut down. It's not just about CP, it's about the whole issue of piracy also.

Paypal doesn't allow payments for access to pornography. File hosts are a different case because you're not paying for the pornography, the files are uploaded by the users and not by the website owner, and the host is just simply hosting the files.

Again you are confusing DMCA safe harbor with Paypal's AUP.

Paypal allows no porn content whatsoever, user uploaded or not makes no difference. It is the website's owner responsibility to ensure no pornography is accessible through their servers.

User uploaded does not matter to a private company like Paypal, if there is pornography accessible through your servers you are in breach of their TOS.
