I have fairly good luck with some vendors doing business with linkshare. 1 of my shopping sites yields regular commission payouts on electronics and computer product sales.

I have not had good luck with the duck on any of my sites promoting usenet, lots of clicks but they claim no leads or purchases, I am ready to pull their ads in favor of something else that produces.

I think you need to take your traffic into consideration when selecting advertisers for your sites.
