Google has changed their policy unfortunately. They claim free speech but they have the right to be selective as to what that is? Read their TOS for submitting and you will see what I mean.
Also I would recommend staying away from larger services and posting on the many warez/porn allowed sites. Go with an overseas host too.

Free Speech and DMCA violations are 2 very different things!

No one can or should expect a company to get sued so you can post your copyright infringing content.

Google removes search results that violate DMCA what makes you think any of their other products or services would be any different.

It does not matter there are others still up there, if it bothers you that much be a DICK and report them. What others are doing does not make it OK and has nothing to do with this site being reported.

All that being said you should immediately get yourself a paid domain name, if you do not already have 1, and paid hosting and move your site to a host more friendly to your content. I would not wait very long or you will be starting over.

It is the most stupid thing to rely on domain like xxx.blogspot.com. Why didn't you buy a proper domain and host it at blogger back then? You wouldn't have lost so much if you have your own domain.

I never understood why people even bother with free blogs/forums that are remotely hosted. Once you use the URL, all your traffic is gone.

I'm not sure if you're visitors registered to your blog, but if they did, you can at least send out a bulk mail to let them know your new URL. That would mitigate some of the losses.

The traffic is not gone. The traffic doesn't belong to him at the first place. The traffic belongs to blogger.com. Maybe he didn't realize that driving traffic to domains owned by someone else is like putting money in someone else pocket.

So you should Transfer your blog to Wordpress. (Even for that you need your blog ALIVE)
Transferring to WP takes a minute & Requires you to Connect your Google Account of Blogger to give privileges to WP to transfer.
If you don't wish to Transfer. Then just create a NEW Blogspot blog & Upload the .xml file of your Blog you EXPORTED
