    Yes you can All you have to do is go into myphpadmin and import the sql onto the connected db your already in

    Buit if you do that the post and member ids will be messed up/overwriten no?

    There was a perl script i used back in the day to merge tow ip.board 2.1.7 boards but i would have no idea how to write such a script.

    I was just going by what this is if your are wanting to convert a forum then there are scripts to do that

    But if it is just a ordinary db then you can easily modify the code in the sql files to match your needs

    But if you have a db with members sat id 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 (but loads more like 120,000), the ohter db would have the same id numbers and the entries would be overwriten...

    The scripot would need to know the last id number for members/posts/etc then re-number the new db from ther upwards...

    For example if i inserted a load of member data from another forum to mine it would overwrite the members that had the same id numbers...

    Hence the reason as to why i stated ordinary db i dont think i must of clarified myself much what i mean by that is a very very low sized db such as 5mb
