How to install FTP on dedi server?

I need a tutorial on how to install FTP on server so that I can download from server to PC directly through FTP... I have remote access and I want FTP on it..

Can anybody help me out?

Why dont you use SFTP to download?

Just make a new sftp connection using CuteFTP

install filezilla Server !

you only have to clikc ok ok ok ok at installation.
Then go to settings => Users and create one. set home direction and then "ok" and you cann connect via any FTP Client and start downloading. (for example via Filezilla )

easiest is filezilla server on non 21 port if its for private use.make sure you open that port as well. if its for a web hosting related thing,use port 21,but read how to secure it.

I see only C.

I had to make multiple accounts for each drive.

start the filezilla interface. then edit->users->add.
then in the shared folders select the drive.
try messing around ..only then will you learn
