We have experienced support staff now. I agree support was not good 4-5 months back or earlier.

Another webT thread Okay I'm going to play a little devil's advocate here just because lol These are my findings and may not reflect everyone else's experience with them. I used them for a month or so a while back and they are not as bad as everyone makes them to be.... in my opinion. I cannot remember the site I hosted with them, but I know I didn't require much bandwidth. I maybe used a gig if that so I wont rate up-time. My site didn't have any downtime. The tech support was not good. I will give you guys Rating: 5

Even with the dismal performance, I was willing to wait and see if things got better and asked if a discount of the fee was possible.

Answer: No, we cannot give you free hosting.

Turned out that support didn't read well and read 'fee' as 'free'

Then I asked Sayan where (read: which path) Lame was.

Answer: Who says we don't have Lame?

I installed SMF through Fantastico. Yet after installation I received an error:' SMF cannot connect to the database.

Answer: You must have used the wrong settings. We can proof that SMF works.

We all know there are no settings to make if you install through Fantastico.

The interval on one ticket was at one time 2 days (excuse: we had a problem with our ISP)
The interval on the other was at one time over 3 days (No excuse was given).

If you bump a ticket after getting no answer for over 12 hours, you get an urgent request not to bump.

Talking about experienced and fast support.

It's a pity I didn't save the transcript of the tickets. It would make some pretty funny reading material for some.

One word comes to mind: clueless.

The whole website is full with promises. It's a pity that none of them are met.

I must give kudos to webthosting for one thing ... the website is well written. But it's all wind ....
