Linux is a nice switch imho. I started with Ubuntu when 6.04 LTS was released and have been using it since. Its a great distro that tends to make the transition smoother. The only thing that Linux lacks on is games (no biggie for me since I rarely play games).
Give linux a go, you'll feel the bliss of a virus free world with an OOB Office Suite and No Internet Explorer

I prefer Windows because it's what I started with, but I do use the MacBook from time to time. Linux is cool, but I still have a lot to learn.

Also like MAC, but very less amount of games.. Sad!
