Windows 8 Help?

Hi there,


I am using windows 8 and i have some issues which i dont now what do with them can some one please help me in that so i can resolve my issue.

1) Bluetooth is connected with Windows and Skype asks for access to it and is given but does not connect to Skype.

2)How do i access my webcam to access it as a mirror or to take pictures using it or to make videos from it?Where do i click? What do i do?

3) Can i disable Caps Lock?

4) Where do i download the synaptics for my Dell N5010 Inspiron? The mousepad is not turning off when it used to before.

5)How do i get rid of Windows Old folders in Win-7 which take a lot of space and are in the same folder as the current Windows

6)I sometimes feel a bit of a current on the edge of my mousepad and the keyboard's metallic section?How or why is that?My plug is three switch but should the charger pin also be converted to three pin?

Any help would be really appreciated and helpful for me

Save as disable_caps_lock.reg and run it.

5)How do i get rid of Windows Old folders in Win-7 which take a lot of space and are in the same folder as the current Windows

Click on Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools/Disc Cleanup

When the dialog box comes up, select the drive that has the .old files on it and click OK

The system then scans for the files to be cleaned up and another dialog box opens with the selection. Click on the button labeled Clean up system files at the bottom of that dialog box.

Another dialog box will come up, select the drive again that has the .old files on it. The system will perform another scan for the system files that need to be cleaned up.

After scanning, another dialog box opens up and there you will find a list of check boxes. Scroll through and check on the box labeled Older versions of Windows and click OK.

4) Where do i download the synaptics for my Dell N5010 Inspiron? The mousepad is not turning off when it used to before.

I don't see synaptics for Windows 8 yet.

Type

Save it as disable_caps_lock.reg and run it.


If you ever plan to get back Caps lock,

Open notepad

Type

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Keyboard Layout]
"Scancode Map"=-

Save it as remove_scancode_mappings.reg and run it.

.reg! Not .txt

You'll see registry file.. Double click it and press YES!

not working still i have copy pasted the text in my windows xp pc and transfer the file to my laptop it execute on windows xp pc but not on laptop
