Issue logging into root

I think root is disabled for security reasons, hosting is doing nothing, how can I enable root? Also I am on a MacBook Pro.

Contact your host and ask them to create you a user with the required privileges.

It is unmanaged hosting, it is a dedicated server with full root access and plesk though.
