DDoSDefend.comWindows 7 has maintained a very stable foundation depending on your computer specifications. You can't expect it to operate at its peak on a mini notebook with 1 GB of RAM. If you are looking for a "lite" OS then Windows XP is for you, but if you have at least 2-4 GB in RAM, Windows 7 is probably your best friend.
DDoS Defend Reviewed by DDoS Defend on . Which Windows OS is the Best? Here is the ultimate poll :) 1. Windows XP 2. Windows Vista 3. Windows 7 4. Windows 8 5. I don't like anyone, huh. :P Post here with the reason why you like it and which feature you like the most. Rating: 5

KWWHunction.comWindows 8 shouldn't really be part of the polling since it's release it official just yet. I would have to choose Windows 7 which in all reality is Windows Vista. The difference between Vista & 7 is the UAC. (User Account Control). The annoying pop up that ask you to give a program permission to run, yeah that is User Account Control. When Microsoft released Vista everyone went WTF when they seen the new feature, so Microsoft had to re-invent itself with the amazing 7.

I tried Windows 8 on my laptop and I really like the new features like it allows you to mount ISO without installing a virtual drive program and the new task manager is so awesome but I don't like the Metro UI. I wish they will add an option to show or hide the start button.
ciao :)
