    Question Rapidshare Question

Hi mates. I want to ask something about rapidshare.

I have a premium account which expires in 5 May 2012.
If I don't renew my account, will I be able to keep my files or not? Will they be deleted after some days?
And will I be able to upload with a free account?
I use this account to store some personal files and i want to know whether they will be deleted or not after my rapid pro expires.

i think its like 30 or 90 days of interactivity and the files get deleted. but you will get an email 3 days ahead of time before any files are actually deleted. and yes will still be able to upload.

    Thanks for the answer mate.
Maybe I will be downloading my files so that they wont be deleted.
But I will upload them in mediafire to have them as back up too.
Do you know if mediafire deletes files because of inactivity?

about how much space are you using ?

i think mediafire deleted files after a certain amount of time too.. but im unsure.

if you have a small amount of files and are personal. id suggest something like dropbox, gdrive, or skydrive for backing up

Mediafire NEVER deletes your files, unless it gets a DMCA complaint OR some similar file gets a DMCA complaint.
I am using 180GB+ Since april 2010 Personal Data.

id suggest you get dropbox if they are personal files.

dropbox gives you 3gbs of space.. so you will have to do a little bit of work to increase your space. but it isnt all that hard.

    just my opinion.

after 30 days file will be deleted
best way to store file for long time is to encrypt with rar password and post link in random places
someone will download it and stored for 30 more days

    Or you can do this:
    Create 2nd rs account.
Then just copy your links from 1st account to 2nd account using save links option ( it's rs to rs)/
After 29 days you repeat this from 2nd account to 1st account.

It's few seconds only,1 time in month and you don't need premium account, only 2 free accounts.
