For uploading purpose the 512 RAM would be fine, but it may bug you alot. I would suggest that you should one with more RAM.

Suggestion:
Why don't you try RL+TF Packs available by different hosts.
You will be able to do all above stuff you mentioned + No need to worry about CPU & RAM consumption
