Adsense Question: Mature content
Hi I have a non warez/non-porn blog that I would like to monetize. It's just that on occasion I have a post about a model or actress.
My question is are these posts (they sometimes include some sexy poses) any risk for me if I apply to adsense. I have read their content policy and it is very vague... what do they deem mature content?
In the chance I am accepted for Adsense, would it be possible to just not show adsense on these adult posts? or if I have a NSFW filter on my site to hide these pictures posts from main page?
Any suggestions are gladly welcomed. Thank youfutureawesome Reviewed by futureawesome on . Adsense Question: Mature content Hi I have a non warez/non-porn blog that I would like to monetize. Would it make a difference if I place all these posts under a different subdomain and not provide adsense on that subdomain?

adsense doesn't allow "sexy" pictures. they actually have a filter for keywords like "sexy" and similar keywords (example: babes). anything related to their TOS they prefer it not be connected to the domain that you're displaying the ads, including subdomains.
i've been down your road. if you really want to monetize it and comply fully with adsense with no risk of being banned, remove the sketchy posts.
best of luck.

Thanks. So as long as the pictures aren't on my domain. I'll play it safe.
If I were to write the blog post with no images and link to another site for the content it would be totally fine and not risk my adsense?

I believe that they aren't going to allow this. The best way to figure this out would be to contact adsense directly and just ask them.

I've read numerous google postings about people asking the same questions. There is never a direct response from a google rep.
I know that I should not include the content on my site. But I'm just asking if linking to this content, lets say I link to a post on thechive would that risk my adsense account?

Adsense is seriously strict. So you should really be careful when using it on any site. Even sexy content can get you banned. If you break the TOS several times, they will just ban your entire account.
