Cant update plugins

I changed the url of my wordpress.
Everything is working fine, but I cant update plugins, It gives me this error:

Downloading update from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/sociable.4.2.8.zip?

Download failed. Couldn't resolve host 'downloads.wordpress.org'

Have you changed your host when you changed the url of your website, because most of the times the error, Couldn't resolve host 'downloads.wordpress.org' appears when your host cannot connect to downloads.wordpress.org. Tell your host provider this error, most probably they will help you out
