ifile.it backflip on policy
http://ifile.it/
The email I received: http://i.imgur.com/9K9rl.png
Their claim: http://i.imgur.com/mW0i7.png
http://ifile.it/help-premium.html
Their ToS: http://ifile.it/help-tos.html
Do you think what they did is morally and ethically correct, or do you think they just want the $$$?
EDIT: And in case anyone was wondering, they had a typo in that email . They downgraded me to free... null and voiding 3extra months of premium, and instantly deleting most of my files.otakucop Reviewed by otakucop on . ifile.it backflip on policy http://ifile.it/ The email I received: http://i.imgur.com/9K9rl.png Their claim: http://i.imgur.com/mW0i7.png http://ifile.it/help-premium.html Their ToS: http://ifile.it/help-tos.html Do you think what they did is morally and ethically correct, or do you think they just want the $$$? Wow that sucks. If they can't afford to offer you 6TB of space, then why does their page say they offer unlimited storage? What they did is definitely wrong, i think you should contact them and tell them to stop advertising unlimited space.

You just got scammed my friend. Well if there policy says unlimited storage then you can use as much space as you want if they don't have any fair policy rule.
Are you files legal? I guess there aren't right?I am the TharkiBaba >_> Oh well thats my websites name -_-

they blatantly false advertised the service, but i guess 6TB of files is pretty crazy too...

Well none of my files were DMCAed... so I guess that means they were legal. They at least weren't any warez or pirated movies/series.
6tb is not much, about 1/5th of what has come through my site in last 3months (at time of posting).
I am glad if this post stopped someone getting ripped off like I was.

6TB is not much if you are selling accounts with the statement of "Unlimited Storage"
If the files are legal, you can file a case against them and take there site down with allegation money too
Buddy you just got scammed, read my above reply if it complies with your files.I am the TharkiBaba >_> Oh well thats my websites name -_-

6TB is definitely not that unreasonable.. I have over 10TB on rapidshare and bayfiles, haven't had any problems like that.
My view is that they should be honest.. If they can only afford 1TB or 2TB, they should advertise that, like plenty of other sites do (e.g. jumbofiles). Advertising unlimited and then backing out after 6TB is just lame.
