hello, I have some money to start a project, but here is the problem. I know how bring traffic to the web, but I have no idea what king of "niche" can I create...
I ran out of imagination! I dont want warez or porn...what can type of website can be popular?

Go with something you're passionate about. Lots of people just try and make money anyway they can on the internet and soon lose interest.

choosing right niche is the future of your site. so yeah, start something which you are good at.like if you have much knowledge about mobile phones you can start mobile niche, where you can share your custom themes, ringtones blaw balw... good luck

Many start a website, and endup with blank or dead forum coz they struggle to get traffic, you know how to draw traffic and struggling about niche.

go to virtually any local business near you or that you tend to visit a lot.

simply ask them.

"hey do you have a web site."

if they do. ask them if they like their current design. or visit the site yourself and see what it looks like.

if they dont have a site. ask them if they would like a site built for them.

if they do and it looks like shit. ask them if they would like a redesign or a new site built.

if they have one and it looks good already. well your shit out of luck and have to do some more searching.

if they say they dont have one and dont need one. tell them about the benefits of having a site. (presents on google, google maps, shit like that)

if they ask for any previous work. show them some examples if you have any. if you dont have any examples. tell them this will be your first site build and do it virtually for free.


... now if you need help CREATING the site. the first thing you should do before anything and learn basic HTML and CSS. watch some online tutorials, read some books, play around with shit. doesnt matter what you do really. as long as you learn what you will be doing.

thats pretty much the very basics. there are also many other things that you will need to know too. but you will learn everything on the way.
