    It depends on the filehost ... and Hard drive , maybe , SSD or SATA2 ...

    Bits and Bytes ...

    1Gbps connection cannot provide more than 128MBps ...

    8Bits = 1Byte ...


    8Gb = 1GB

    everywhere network speed is measured in bits .. that's why it's small b

    Nobody was asking the difference between Bits and Bytes here. So I was confused why you wrote that reply. The OP was asking how fast is OVH's 1 Gbps servers.
