I would suggest you remove the wordpress files and do a new installation downloading the files from wordpress.org but that's if you haven't posted anything much or anything to it.

well it happened all of sudden, it was working fine & next day it wasnt. So what i feel is, Its not his plugins or something. Its about the "shared" tmp folder which is set in php.ini (according to me)

Hi guys, i am getting the following error while uploading images on my new wp blog. http://i.imgur.com/0zqKl.jpg It was working fine till yesterday and when i logged in today, i got this error. no plugins were installed/removed during this time. I used a plugin "wp-smushit" before, but removed it 2 days back. My "uploads" directory is under 777 already, and also tried creating a folder via cpanel, on public_html folder, by the name "tmp", still stuck with the same error. tmp folder Rating: 5
