Do you have any panel's installed such as cPanel, Kloxo, Webmin...etc?

If not then you need to install one. PM me for help.

If you have pre-installed one then you add the domain within the panel by creating a new account in cPanel/Plesk, or creating a new domain in Kloxo or Webmin.

Note: Kloxo & Webmin are free (recommend kloxo) & cPanel is $15/month on a VPS but Plesk is free for 1 domain.

You don't necessarily need to install a panel, it's not mandatory.

As said there is no need to install a control panel to add a domain.

Are you running your own DNS server? I suggest you don't if you don't know what you are doing. Use your domain registers, and add the appropriate "A" entry for your IP.

Than add the vhost for whatever HTTPD software you are using.
