How does one go about promoting forums that are nulled and getting your site out there to gain traffic and what not?

I always wonder how some of these warez forums get so big and their methods of promoting.

Nulled scripts always have a lot of bugs (and are illegal), especially vbulletin and are not to be recommended.. and yeah WDF is right, use vbseo ... it really helps bringing traffic from google and other search engines
