Linux RDP's are available, but are very slow to access unless you are nearer to the server location, IMO. I've experienced this with Debian RDP before.

Problem I have is I have 2 OVH servers laying around and not doing a great deal, but i woudn't know where to start in setting up a win RDP, where as ubuntu would be easy for me.

I guess I should figure it out really as most people use windows

    Thanks Froomple for the reply

    Cheers

Windows just has more stuff available for "warez" related tasks, and most people are really familiar with winRar, fileZilla, etc.. there is no other reason other than that tbh. As far as I'm aware its just a preference.

Every emulator you use slows down the apps. Don't know if popular programs like IDM and Zoom Uploader even work on Wine.

All in all Linux Desktop isn't as 'hot' as Windows RDP.
