    Default "The Scene"

I wanted to ask a few questions about "the scene" as tbh I've never fully understood the whole thing,

I've read a few articles up on it from torrentfreak about some interviews and such but still can't get my head around it.

The biggest question I have on my mind is that do the Scene release groups actually release them to the public as what I read on a interview on torrentfreak is that the scene is that big that there are many leaks, so is that meaning that everything on the warez sites and p2p just been leaked from the groups or have they been intentionally released?
Reason I always throught they were intentionally released becuase of Top Sites and Couries, but I really don't have a clue,

My second thing I wanted to know is how would someone become a member of the scene (I'm not asking to get invited or anything, just always been curious how it all happens)

So does anyone have any knowledge of "The Scene" as I know people here refer to the scene as just warez sites.

If anyone has a good understanding of the scene would you be so kind to explain a bit more in detail about it

    Thanks

The release groups release their releases to the scene only (topsites). There are leaks thats why private trackers and a few forums get them first. The people download, and boom its all over rapidshare and torrents.Scene lamers (the leakers) get banned if found out.
And you have to have something to supply to the groups to get in the scene.

Scene groups usually despise torrent sites and such. They release their content to the scene, not to websites.

To get into the "scene", you'd need to already have connections and be a ridiculously good uploader or something. Or someone with a huge server to spare in a country that doesn't care about piracy.

I find it quite annoying loads of warez forum names have "scene" in them. They are so far from the scene its annoying.

Indeed, they get their satisfaction by releasing the material. And yes they are everywhere, if you want to become a member just check the NFO's they provide, they are mostly looking for people with servers (good ones lol) and/or suppliers. If you are looking for the way the get their movies I know only one of them lol. They contact the suppliers (guys delivering movies to the stores or w/e) and they just make a deal like you give me the movie and I will provider you with access to all the latest movies. I doubt they even pay those suppliers. Could be wrong though.
I can always be contacted by sending a tweet @twilightws
