I heard Linux is very good, they are no viruses for Linux etc.. + Linux is opensource.. Also, I'll be more protected against the hackers and being keylogged.; Is it true? Am I thinking correctly?     Not really. However, I would install a firewall. There's plenty of free ones out there. That's the beauty about Linux, open and free

    On starting my PC, I want an option where I can choose between linux or vista.

    If Windows is installed first, popular linux distros like Ubuntu will detect it and automatically configure the bootloader so you can boot into both Windows and Ubuntu.
