    In Reality, it is very difficult to make compulsory to read. Only way we can ban the users who are not following the rules.

    Too much to read and it may deter people from signing up. And who is going to read through all this.

    Might put a sentence in there that references to the rules and have a new member agree to read these.

    True, but it's the job of a website to make them as clear and easy to find as possible.

    This being a webmaster website, should definetely have the rules there, not the default vBulletin message, even if no one reads them.

    I don't remember if a member gets a welcome mail, but if it does that's a perfect place to include a link to the rules.

    Yeah but who actually reads the welcome email 2/10 people,
    Not only that everytime i get an email from KWWHunction it goes to my spam folder so

    New user should have to agree with the rules, BEFORE he is allowed to join forum.
    That way, no one can say, oh I didn't found rules, where are they, etc...
