    Windows 8 sucks hairy hippo balls!

    Personally I don't want a "start page" when my machine boots up I want my desktop ffs! Not stupid UI that looks like it has been designed by a 4 year old in nursery.

    I use my Start Menu a lot for launching games and various other things I never pin anything to the taskbar.

    I believe you can disable the home screen and go straight to desktop upon launch. As for the start button, I myself use it all the time. Who in the hell pins CMD, and everything on the explorer bar. That's like shifting to the lame mac dock.
