Anybody know the deal with DMCA on screenshots of videos and covers.

Surely screens count as fair use?

its all copywrite if you take some one elses work you are copying it thats breaking the law

You mean the covers that they paid many designers to create for their own product that they own the rights to?

Just add at the bottom of your site or what not that you don't own any of the covers and that they belong to their rightful owners. Or you could put that huge DMCA paragraph that everyone else puts.

Oh i see. They are held the same way. They'll contact you. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Chances are they will just send it to the image host.

It really depends. For example, if your site is about movie reviews then I doubt they'll contact.

happens to my imagehosting
if they cannot contact you directly they will contact dedicated server company
and then the dedicated server will contact you to delete the image
