They mail you because their script sends out spam unless the owner "disables" that feature. Plus considering the majority of its users are newbies, they haven't a clue how to disable it or just don't realise.

bluedevil, it's a notification you receive when you submit downloads to any site that uses DDLCMS.

JmZ is on a DDLCMS bashing rampage (he owns WCDDL, which is not a bad script, I just couldn't stand it myself) and even though I don't bash his script, he gets off on bashing mine.

Spam is defined as unsolicited email. When you submit to a DDLCMS site, you "opt in" to receive this notification, as per the TOS and Privacy Policy that is distributed with the script, which, the webmaster of the site can easily turn off.

JmZ hasn't seen the new release because it hasn't been released yet to he can't possibly know what he's talking about, so anything he has to say about DDLCMS is pure horse shit.

little dragon not being funny but how many want to sit there reading the T.O.S? all they do is download upload configure it thats all so in a way it is spam as they got no warning
